Duac Topical Gel is used to treat inflammatory acne. Although Duac Topical Gel is safe, side effects may include redness, peeling, burning, and dryness. Clindamycin, an ingredient of Duac Topical Gel, may cause diarrhea. If you experience severe diarrhea, stop using Duac Topical Gel and consult your physician immediately.

You should not use Duac Topical Gel if you are allergic or intolerant to any of its components or lincomycin. You should also not use Duac Topical Gel if you have a history of regional enteritis (Crohn's disease) or colitis.
